Mass Effect Cake for Commander Shepard!

When my friend Jennie's (@_jennc) adorable Bf Curtis (@KurtSawyer) asked us to create this cake for her surprise birthday party, 

I had no clue what it meant  excitedly, and with many exclamation marks, said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

(just like that)

Jennie has to be one of the most talented and artistic people I know, and she is sweet as cake to boot.  

I hope this red velvet with chocolate ganache cake helped to create the most perfect birthday celebrations!
