Tea Party Tuesday! {feat. Pink Satin Ganache Cupcakes}

This past weekend, my friend Heather hosted an adorable tea party with a  fine group of ladies.  The sunroom was decorated with the cutest little crafts done by our hostess with the pinterest-mostest!

For the party, there was a buffet of fancy teas, from Tiramisu to Granny's Apple Pie, and lots of little crafty plates that made every moment a kodak one {if anyone had a camera anymore that wasn't a cell phone}.

it's not a mushroom, it's a radish {mind boggling}

I brought along some cinnamon chocolate cupcakes, with a chocolate ganache.  The decoration is pink lustre dusting and candy pearls.  I added a small pink flower buds because, well, the host's Twitter name is @pinkwhiskers and it just seemed like the right thing to do.  Looking back, I should have made pink kittens for the top. Dammit.

I had never been to an actual tea party before - but I loved it!! And while we were having a spot of tea, we decided that the next party definitely needs to involve many cats.
