Life is TOO SHORT to dwell.
In a world full of unpredictable events, and even more unpredictable human beings - there is bound to be a few moments in life when you have to take a minute and reflect on the situation at hand. Some get it worse then others - some lose people they love and others lose people before they even knew what they were losing. I have watched others lives fall apart in front of me, and have even watched my own life have it's moments of fragility - but overall I have been lucky to have my dwell-worthy situations be (for the most part) my own doing.
This is the thing I'm getting at.
If there is something I am dwelling on, it is most assuredly caused by actions of none other then my own. I choose the situations I want to hold onto, and I beat them to death into the ground. Literally. With a large stick. Also sometimes, I beat them with my mouth. This usually comes in the form of rants and rages on every platform you can think of. I have to relive the awful moments over and over, and think "what could have been done differently?" "was it something (god forbid) I did?!" "WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE ME?"
After the usual first stages of denial - it will normally boil down to the fact that I blew something out of proportion.
Hence - life is too short to dwell.
If you are not happy with a situation - then hello!! you need to CHANGE IT. You can talk yourself in and out of a lot of things, but if you take a step out of the dilemma long enough to look at it without blinders on, you will most likely come to a logical decision. Unless you're legit crazy, in that case - I think they have doctors for that shit. But yah, for the most part if there is something you are dwelling on, you will most likely be the only person that can do a damn thing about it.
Sometimes it takes a while to get the courage to actually do something to make yourself happy, but if you force yourself to move past what is irking you - you will find that there is a whole world full of things other then the words "worst", "blerst" and "brutal". For instance, there are words like "BEST" and "BEST EVAAAH" and also "FUCK YAH!". Those words are much better and also give the impression that you may actually be enjoying this ride called life.
Dwell on things like how junk food tastes better then salad, and how summer hates British Columbia - but don't, for a second, dwell on something you can change.

To dwell or not to dwell - THAT, is the question...
